Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of services from BTO Technology Solutions ("BTO," "we," "us"), including web hosting, servers, domain registration, SSL certificates, Care Plans, security plans, and professional services ordered through btotechnologysolutions.com. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

BTO provides managed hosting and related digital services. Hosting infrastructure is operated in professional data centers through BTO's infrastructure partners. Plan features are as described on our store at the time of purchase. We may improve or change features where the change does not materially reduce what you paid for.

2. Orders, Billing and Renewal

Hosting plans are billed yearly in advance unless the store states otherwise. Care Plans and other monthly services are billed monthly by separate subscription. Accounts are set up within 24 hours of confirmed payment. Services renew at the end of each term; we will send a renewal notice before charging or invoicing. You may cancel renewal at any time by emailing billing@btotechnologysolutions.com before the renewal date.

3. Domains

Domain registrations are subject to the rules of the relevant registry and ICANN. Registration fees are non-refundable once a domain is registered. A free domain included with a hosting plan is free for the first year and renews at the standard rate. You are the registrant of your domain and may transfer it out according to registry rules.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use BTO services for unlawful activity, spam or bulk unsolicited email, malware, phishing, copyright or trademark infringement, content that exploits or harms children, attacks on other systems, or anything that threatens the security or performance of shared infrastructure. Shared hosting resources (CPU, memory, processes) are subject to fair-use limits. We may suspend services that violate this section, with notice where reasonably possible.

5. Your Content and Backups

You own your website content and data. You are responsible for its legality and for keeping your own copies. BTO performs backups as included in your plan or Care Plan, but backups are a safety measure, not a guarantee against all loss.

6. Uptime and Refunds

Our uptime commitment and the 30-day money-back guarantee are described in our Service Guarantees, which form part of these Terms.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or legal requirement. After termination, data may be deleted 30 days later unless you request an export before then.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BTO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. BTO's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date and apply to renewals and new orders after that date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.
